What we're all about
Mission statement
Our purpose
The Kitten Connection rescues and rehomes kittens and sterilises street cats in Peniche.
Our vision
Our vision is that every cat and kitten has the opportunity for a life where they are protected and cared for, whether in homes or the community.
Our aims
Together with our volunteers, supporters and partners, we aim:
- To reduce the numbers of kittens born on the streets.
- To find suitable homes for rescued kittens.
- To ensure feral cats are sterilised and managed appropriately.
Our values
We are:
- Feline focused
- Compassionate
- Knowledgeable
- Considerate
We are feline focused. We put the cats and their welfare first.
We are compassionate. We work to ensure cats are happy and healthy; that is the heart of our work.
We are knowledgeable. We share our expertise with the wider community.
We are considerate. We work within our limits, understanding that we cannot help every cat, and we show kindness to each other.
